See what a clean chimney looks like

    By Joanne Murphy | Uncategorised | 0 comment | 4 December, 2018 | 1

Ever wondered what your chimney actually looks like inside?  Here are before and after pictures of a pre-stove installation sweep.

Our customer is having a new stove installed, so they needed to make sure the chimney was safe and ready for use.

To the left we see a clay chimney liner glazed with tar. We removed the tar with a chain flail and after 40 minutes of aggressive rotary cleaning, it’s all ready to safely receive a new flexible liner to the stove (right image).

The happy customer will be having a warm Christmas with the new stove safely installed and chimney ready for use.

For more information about chimney inspections and sweeps give us a call on 07933 472226 or send us a message. We can carry out inspections to see if there are any issues or potential problems, and also drone inspections for an external view of your chimney.
