Treat your chimney to a spring clean!

Treat your chimney to a spring clean!

    By Joanne Murphy | Uncategorised | 0 comment | 13 May, 2019 | 0
Now the weather is warming up nicely, it’s the ideal time to get the chimney and stove inspected and cleaned.  In the same way you give your house a spring clean, your chimney and stove should receive the same treatment!

    Why spring clean your chimney?
A thorough clean during Spring will get rid of any old odours before the hot summer kicks in (well, we hope)!  The chimney will be fresh, and ready to use once Summer is over. Any build-up can be removed, including creosote and soot, or any other blockages such as birds nests or other UFOs!

    Your stove needs care too
A well-used stove or wood burner will need a bit of TLC before it’s used again.  This can include checks to make sure it is safe and still functioning efficiently, rope can be replaced, glass can be checked and replaced, and fire bricks can also be changed if they are cracked.

    Inspection and maintenance for longevity
As with anything, regular inspections are key to keeping your chimney and stove in tip-top condition. Early identification of problems allows them to be fixed before they become real, costly, issues, or even dangerous.

Contact us today and take advantage of our Spring offer – only £45 for a standard chimney sweep!
