As part of our inspection service, we use a drone to check the chimney from all angles. This is far more effective than in person, as you can move the camera around the stack and from the top, giving a birds eye view, with no risk to the chimney sweep. We can see if there are broken bricks, cracks in the flaunching, check the pot and cowl to make sure they are still in position and working, plus see the general condition of the stack.
