Jet Master inset stoves were once very popular, and we still see many installed and in use. However, they do often have a build-up of tar in the flue, more so than a standard wood-burning stove.
Using a normal brush in the flue just ‘tickles’ it (proper chimney sweep phrase from DMS!), however, on this particular Jet Master stove flue, Dorset Lady Sweep a.k.a Jenna, used a specialist sweep head, which is far more effective.
The results are clear to see; this clear flue is testament to the owner regularly booking sweeps and keeping the flue safe from tar/creosote buildup. Read more here about why this is critical if you have a chimney.
