    Why you shouldn’t burn damp or unseasoned wood

    In this damp, cold weather, it’s tempting to put damp or wet wood on the fire, especially if there aren’t any dry logs.  Don’t do it!  It can lead to harmful emissions, which as well as damaging to the environment, can be dangerous to your health. Always use seasoned wood on your log burner or open fire.
     
    By burning seasoned wood and keeping your chimney clean and well maintained, you can reduce emissions and do your bit for the environment, and also keep you and your family safe. Read more here:
